The closure of Jiráskovy sady is over; the area will be open to traffic from Saturday
As part of the regeneration of Jiráskovy sady, the water and sewerage mains beneath the road surface have also been replaced. The final road closure associated with this work has now ended. From Saturday 25 April, the area will once again be open to traffic.
The most significant traffic restrictions associated with the revitalisation of Jiráskovy sady are drawing to a close. A new tarmac surface is currently being laid following the excavation work at the junction of Jiráskovy sady and Kpt. Olesinského Avenue. Once the work is complete, the junction will be open to traffic again from Saturday 25 April. Work will then continue in the area in front of the school buildings, with the complete refurbishment of the area due to be finished in June.
Bus services in the Jiráskovy sady area will resume on the same date, namely Saturday 25 April – from this date, all bus services will return to their normal routes in accordance with the usual timetables.
