The first flea markets of 2026
For the third year running, the town has been organising flea markets in addition to its regular and farmers’ markets. We invite you to the first ‘flea market’ on Saturday 18 April at T. G. Masaryk Square.
Whilst the farmers’ markets are held at regular intervals on the first and third Saturdays of each month, the flea markets are held on an irregular basis. This year’s first market will take place on Saturday 18 April from 9 am to 1 pm at T. G. Masaryk Square. The arrangements for stallholders remain the same as in previous years – stallholders do not need to register in advance, and they must provide their own sales equipment (table, blankets, boxes) on the square themselves; a fee of 20 Kč per square metre of sales area will be collected during the markets. The typical range of goods sold at flea markets may be offered, namely second-hand items that are no longer of use to their owners and which they wish to ‘pass on’. Weapons, food, medicines, tobacco and alcohol may not be sold.
Opening hours for the Saturday flea markets are from 9 am to 1 pm, although stallholders may set up their stalls an hour earlier.
On the same day, the traditional farmers’ market takes place on Dvořák Embankment from 8 am to 12 noon.
Further flea markets will take place in June and September.
