Enrolment for Year 1 begins in mid-January

Enrolment for Year 1 at primary schools is taking place earlier than in previous years. In Příbram’s schools, the enrolment period runs from 16 January to 14 February. 

Starting Year 1 marks a major change in a child’s life, and is preceded by enrolment at the chosen school. This year, primary schools in Příbram have set enrolment dates between 16 January and 14 February. Some schools have just one enrolment day, whilst others offer a choice of two consecutive dates. Enrolment for the 2026/2027 school year applies to children born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020, including those whose school attendance has been deferred. 

Primary schools in Příbram are holding enrolment for the new school year in person on the dates specified by the school, although in justified cases it is possible to arrange an alternative date with the headteacher of the chosen school. Information on enrolment dates is available on the websites of the individual schools and also on the town’s website. An important point for parents of future schoolchildren to note is that, in addition to the child themselves, they must bring their own identity card and the child’s birth certificate to the enrolment session.
