The second guided walk around the town
The second guided walk of the year is scheduled for Sunday 22 February. This time, we’ll be taking a stroll through the city centre.
The subtitle of the second guided walk is ‘How the New Town Came to Be’. Over the course of Sunday afternoon, participants will be able to learn interesting facts that may previously have remained hidden from them. The walk is once again free for anyone interested, and participants will meet on Sunday 22 February at 2 pm in front of the A. Dvořák Theatre, with the walk ending at the railway station.
As previously announced, eight guided walks have been organised for this year to mark the 810th anniversary of the town’s first written mention. If you’d like to learn more about the town’s history, do make a note of the date of the third walk – it will take place on 22 March.
