News from the Town Hall – 26 March 2026

The sixth instalment of this year’s ‘Minutky’ has been filmed, and once again you’ll learn lots of new information from it.

• The Příbram Fire and Rescue Service has new equipment – the purchase was supported by a grant from the town.
• From 1 April, the upper section of Kpt. Olesinského Street in Jiráskovy sady will be closed.
• On Thursday 9 April, enrolment for Příbram’s nursery schools will take place.
• On 11 April, the Route 66 event will take place on T. G. Masaryk Square and in Pražská Street.
• In our ‘Waste Management Corner’, we’ll be reminding you of the obligations of sole traders and companies.
• The deadline for paying local waste and dog licence fees is approaching. These must be paid by 31 March.
• Upcoming events: 27 March: Ladies and Gentlemen (Junior Club); 28 March: Let’s Clean Up the Czech Republic; 28 and 29 March and 2–5 April: Easter at the Miners’ Cottage (Příbram Mining Museum), 3 April: Toot Ensemble (Junior Club), 11 April: Route 66 (T. G. Masaryk Square) and the opening of the tourist season (Svatohorské Pilgrimage Museum, Příbram Mining Museum), 12 April: guided walk ‘Our Ancestors’ Excursion Spots’ (meeting point: the gazebo in Střelovna Park), 12 April: adventure game at Svatá Hora, 16 April: opening of the Antonín Dvořák Music Festival (A. Dvořák Theatre), 18 April: farmers’ markets (Dvořák Embankment) and flea markets (T. G. Masaryk Square), 18 April: Tasty Street Food Festival (T. G. Masaryk Square), 29 April: Witches’ Night at Novák (Nový Rybník area), 12–14 June: Miners’ Festival.
