News from the Town Hall – 11 September 2026
The latest edition of ‘News from the Town Hall’ is here, and once again it’s packed with lots of new information.
- ČEZ transformer stations are getting a new ‘look’.
- A number of repairs were carried out in school buildings over the summer holidays.
- There are new parking spaces in the courtyard on Edvard Beneš Street.
- On Friday 18 September, Urban Mobility Day will take place at the children’s traffic playground.
- A glimpse into waste management: the Technical Services Open Day will be on 10 October.
- A charity event, ‘Veterans at the Baselines’, is being organised. It will take place at the TJ Amasoma sports ground on 27 and 28 September 2026.
- Events: 11 September – Czech-Italian Friendship Concert (St James’s Church); 12 September – Příbram Svatá Hora Shalmay (Svatá Hora); 12 September: Firefighters’ Run up the Svatohorské Stairs (Svatá Hora), 19 September: Farmers’ markets (Dvořák Embankment), 19 September: Flea markets (T. G. Masaryk Square), 25 September: Seniors’ Day (17 November Square), 30 September: guided walk (meeting point at Sevastopol Square), until 30 September: registration for the October ‘10,000 Steps’ challenge.
