End of the school year with Pěnkava the Water Sprite at the Čekalík Kids Vol. 1 event

The school year ends this Friday, 26 June, and a fun afternoon event has been organised for all children on that day at Valle di Ledro Park, by Čekalíkovský Pond.

Čekalík Kids Vol. 1 is an event aimed primarily at children aged 3 to 12 as a reward for completing the school year. The programme at Čekalík Pond begins on Friday 26 June at 3 pm.

You can look forward to an afternoon full of water sprites, puppets and activities. So what’s in store? Four stage performances have been organised:

• 3.15 pm – A puppet fairy tale about water sprites
• 4.15 pm – How the water sprite fell in love with a mermaid and the ‘watermobile’ – the water sprite’s electric tricycle
• 5.15 pm – A talk about fish and life in and around the water
• 18.15 – A water sprite juggling fairy tale 

In addition to the performances listed above, there will be a programme where children can try their hand at activities such as handcart races, catching fish, putting together a water-themed jigsaw puzzle, grinding grain or washing clothes – all in the authentic spirit of the water sprite.

The organisers have also set up an interactive play area featuring stilts, balancing activities, hoops, target ball games, an agility course and photo opportunities in scale models.
