St Patrick’s Day at the Junior Club
Do you have any green clothes at home? If not, you should start looking for some, as St Patrick’s Day will be celebrated once again this year at the Junior in Příbram on Saturday 14 March.
St Patrick’s Day is a holiday celebrated worldwide on 17 March in honour of St Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. In Příbram, we’ll be marking this occasion a little early this year with an event at the Junior Club, to which we’d like to invite you on Saturday 14 March.
What’s in store for us on this day, when you’ll feel as though everything is green? The band Rí Ra, who play Celtic music, will be performing. There’ll be themed decorations, Irish dancing and, of course, green beer and refreshments. There’ll be a photo booth, competitions, and dance lessons with the Simply Dance group – in short, things will be buzzing at the Junior Club from 6 pm on Saturday.
“I’m delighted that our town hosts events which introduce us to other cultures, such as St Patrick’s Day, as mentioned, or the Mexican Día de Muertos,” says Mayor Jan Konvalinka.
Tickets for St Patrick’s Day can be purchased in advance via the Ticketportal network at a discounted price of 150 Kč, or on the door for 200 Kč.
