Description of the department’s activities  

The department exercises both independent and delegated powers within the territorial jurisdiction of the town with delegated powers (Type II) in the following areas:

• economic affairs of the town, i.e. the town council, its organisational units and organisations established by the town of Příbram
• the budget, accounts, financial management and funding in accordance with applicable regulations
• asset records
• payroll administration
• administrative fees (permits for the establishment of gaming premises) and local charges (dogs, tourist tax, municipal waste management charge)
• loans from the Town Loan Fund
• cashier services
• Budget, including budgetary measures for the current year, and an archive of budgets from previous years 
• Interactive budget
• Financial results
