Charges

• local charges (dog licence fees, accommodation charges, municipal waste management charges)
• notification of a prize draw where the prize fund exceeds 200,000.00 CZK
• administrative fees (for the establishment of a gaming area),

In addition to the above fees:

• monitors and implements measures imposed by the town council and the municipal assembly,
• proposes audits of the assessment of local charges,
• ensures the dispatch of payment documents and checks that payments are made on time, arranges for their recovery and the issuing of reminders (payment notices and demands),
• settles arrears and overpayments.

Waste and dog licence fees are due in the first quarter

From 1 January to 31 March, residents pay fees for waste collection and dogs. The dog licence fee varies according to the number of dogs or the type of property (detached house, block of flats, housing estate, etc.) and is set out in the generally binding by-law on the local dog licence fee. Senior citizens aged 65 and over are exempt from this charge. The charge for the municipal waste management system is 864 crowns. People aged 70 and over pay half this amount, i.e. 432 crowns. The town no longer sends out paper payment slips. Residents may pay their fees from 1 January 2026, with cashless payment being the preferred method. Payment can be made in three ways:

• Citizen Portal: portalobcana.pribram.eu (My Obligations);
• Cashless payment: a) local municipal waste charge – account number 1783-521689309/0800 (the variable symbols are the same as in previous years; if necessary, they can be obtained by calling 318 402 354 or 318 402 230), b) local dog licence fee – account number 60038-521689309/0800 (the variable symbols are the same as in previous years; alternatively, they can be obtained by calling 318 402 384 or 318 402 230);
• In cash or by payment card at the cash desk: Příbram Town Hall, Gen. R. Tesaříka 19 (opposite the Sokol Hall). Residents with enquiries regarding the local charge for the municipal waste management system may contact the Economic Department by email at popelnice@pribram.eu
