A summer weekend public transport service (route 505) will take visitors from Příbram to Brdy

The 505 weekend public transport service will be available to tourists and cyclists again this year. The service will run at weekends and on public holidays from Saturday 6 June to 13 September.

The good news for tourists and cyclists is that this year, too, they will be able to travel from Příbram to the Brdy Mountains on weekends and public holidays using the No. 505 public transport bus service. The pick-up points for the Brdy Protected Landscape Area in Orlová and Kozičín will be served by this service – which allows bicycles to be carried free of charge – from 6 June to 13 September.

“This service is particularly beneficial for tourists and cyclists given the limited number of parking spaces in Orlová and Kozičín, where work on the sewerage system is still ongoing. The service will provide not only passenger transport but also free transport of bicycles. Another advantage is the connection to long-distance services,” says First Deputy Mayor Vladimír Karpíšek ahead of the start of the season.

Fares are charged in accordance with the current Příbram public transport tariff and, as already mentioned, bicycles are carried free of charge. Full timetables are published on the IDOS portal or on the town’s website in the ‘Transport and Timetables’ section.
