Spring tree planting in Příbram in 2026

This year, the town of Příbram is continuing to restore and replenish its public green spaces. In the spring of 2026, 74 trees and 155 shrubs were planted at various locations around the town.

Current climatic conditions in recent years have increased the risk of newly planted trees and shrubs dying. The town of Příbram is therefore introducing a new system for planting trees and shrubs.

The planting is being carried out by an external contractor. This approach is intended to help organise the entire process in such a way as to minimise, as far as possible, the costs associated with both the planting itself and the subsequent aftercare. The company will be responsible for the new trees and shrubs for a period of three years, including watering, monitoring their condition and, where necessary, replacing any dead specimens. Only then will the trees and shrubs be handed over to the care of the Technical Services Department of the City of Příbram.

New trees and shrubs have been planted, for example, in the Kladenská, Žežická, Čechovská, Politických vězňů, Družstevní, Mariánská, Pod Haldou and P. Bezruče areas, as well as at other locations throughout the town.
