Königs Wusterhausen

A partnership agreement between the two towns was signed in September 1974. Relations developed in the fields of education, culture and sport. Following the departure of the former mayor, Mr Wagner, activities declined.

Information about the town

The town of Königs Wusterhausen is a popular destination for day trips, rich in ponds and forests, and has retained its recreational character to this day. It lies in a lake district 30 km south-east of Berlin. It has a population of 34,000.
