The City of Příbram Award

THE CITY OF PŘÍBRAM AWARD

On 14 September 2020, the Příbram City Council approved the statutes of the City of Příbram Award. Through this award, the City of Příbram honours the work of those who have made a significant contribution to the development of the city and the region, thereby helping to promote its reputation both at home and abroad. The City of Příbram Award is usually presented once a year and may also be awarded posthumously. 

Nominations for the award may be submitted by both individuals and legal entities using the nomination form. Nominations may be made for individuals, as well as for companies or groups. Submitted nominations are assessed by a working group whose members are appointed by the Mayor of Příbram. The working group evaluates the nominations and recommends suitable candidates to the Town Council. The decision as to which of the nominated candidates will receive the award rests with the Town Council.

The City of Příbram Award is usually presented to its recipients during the closing concert of the Antonín Dvořák Music Festival.

Deadline for nominations

Nominations for the City of Příbram Award for 2026 could be submitted from 1 October to 30 November 2025.

Nominations for the award may be submitted by both individuals and legal entities using the online form. The form must include the nominator’s name and contact details. Anonymous nominations will not be considered. In the case of a nomination for a group, the contact details of its representative must be provided.

All nominations received will be entered into a prize draw, and the winner will receive a gift voucher for the A. Dvořák Theatre in Příbram worth a total of 1,000.00 CZK and a book about the Příbram region. 

Submission options: 

• online – by completing the online form on the website (you do not need to log in to a Google account to complete the form online),
• by email – send your nomination by email to cenamesta@pribram.eu (the email must include, in particular, the first name and surname of the nominated individual or group, the reasons for the nomination and a description of how they have contributed to the development of the town of Příbram, as well as the first name and surname of the nominator, including their address and contact details),
• in writing – by completing a printed form, which can be submitted at the Příbram Information Centre at Pražská 129 (the form is available at the Information Centre).
