Description of the department’s activities
- It exercises the powers of a road administration authority and carries out state supervision in matters relating to Class II and III roads, local roads and publicly accessible service roads.
- It establishes local and temporary traffic regulations on Class II and III roads and local roads.
- It addresses issues relating to urban mobility.
- It acts as the transport authority for urban bus services.
- It ensures transport services within the city via public transport.
- It addresses issues relating to vehicles parked long-term on local roads.
- It coordinates the work of the City Council’s Transport Committee.
