Description of the department’s
activities
activities
- It oversees the activities of the town – the town council – in the field of general legal affairs.
- It carries out state administration in the area of dealing with administrative offences within the remit of the Administrative Offences Department (further details are set out in the description of the Administrative Offences Department’s activities).
- It carries out state administration in the field of elections – the activities of the so-called registration office in the field of elections.
- It prepares the annual report in accordance with Act No. 106/1999 Coll., on Free Access to Information, as amended.
- It oversees the administration of public procurement contracts awarded by the town of Příbram, and coordinates and provides methodological guidance on public procurement, including in relation to organisations under its control and companies established by the town.
