Please note that, in accordance with the Travel Documents Act, expired passports must be surrendered. If a Czech citizen does not apply for a passport renewal, they are still obliged to surrender their expired passport to the ID Cards and Travel Documents Department at Příbram Town Hall.
For travel to EU countries, both a passport and an identity card are valid travel documents. In such cases, in addition to the child’s passport, the identity card of a child under 15 years of age may also be used. When applying for a travel document or identity card for a child under 15, it is necessary to present the child’s birth certificate and the identity card of their legal guardian.
