New projects for the revitalisation of public spaces in the Březohorský housing estate

As part of the Integrated Urban Development Plan (IPRM) since 2010, the City of Příbram has been implementing projects aimed at revitalising public spaces in the Březohorské housing estate area. To date, four projects have been completed at a total cost of approximately 87 million CZK (grant received: approximately 74 million CZK). These included the reconstruction of Bratří Čapků Street, the revitalisation of the area around the cultural centre and the 2nd health centre, the reconstruction of 17 November Square and its surroundings, and the reconstruction of public lighting in the IPRM zone. The final project under the IPRM, which is due to be carried out this year and which was originally intended to use up the remaining IPRM allocation, is the renovation of 28. října Street.

As the town of Příbram is one of the towns that are successfully implementing the IPRM and have met the conditions for its implementation throughout the entire implementation period, an increase in the IPRM allocation for Příbram has been approved; this will be used to carry out several further projects to revitalise public spaces. These projects will be carried out in 2015, with total expenditure amounting to approximately 30 million CZK.

By the end of April 2014, project documentation should be finalised for the reconstruction of the following local roads: Mariánská Street, S. K. Neumanna Street, Kutnohorská Street, Jáchymovská Street, Okružní Street, Ostravská Street, Gen. Kholla, B. Němcové, K. H. Máchy, Erbenova, Kladenská, Pod Haldou, Březohorská, near the 28. října nursery school, Politických vězňů, Legionářů and Komenského. Any suggestions regarding the planned projects may be submitted to the Road Management and Investment Department at Příbram Town Hall.
