Hřebeny Nature Park

On 14 September 2009, the Central Bohemian Regional Council approved the designation of the Hřebeny Nature Park. The park was officially designated on 11 November 2009 in the Central Bohemian Region’s Official Gazette.

The aim is to preserve the landscape character of the wooded hilly terrain, particularly the forest complexes comprising sections of near-natural beech woodland and mixed woodland with scattered ancient trees on characteristic geological bedrock, which possess significant aesthetic value and a number of cultural and historical monuments.
