Valle di Ledro Park

Valle di Ledro Park, situated by Čekalíkovský Pond, is the newest addition to the town’s Green Spine. It offers a peaceful setting in the centre of Příbram, ideal for relaxation and gentle activities. The park’s centrepiece is the pond, around which there are well-maintained gravel paths perfect for walks. 

Dozens of trees and shrubs have been planted in the park, contributing to biodiversity and providing shade. For children, there is a modern playground featuring trampolines, rocking boats, a slide and other attractions. Visitors can make use of benches, rocking chairs or the gazebo for sitting and picnics. Another interesting feature is the barefoot trail. 

The park is named after the Valle di Ledro valley in Italy, with which Příbram shares a history stretching back more than a century. In 1915, dozens of families arrived here from Ledro, having been forced to leave their homes during the First World War. They found a temporary home in Příbram and forged friendships that continue to this day.
