Zeleň Parky ve městě Komenského náměstí
Komenský Square
The area that is now the square with its small park was created in 1904 following the demolition of three small houses on the southern side of Dlouhá Street. It was originally intended as a fitting site at the foot of Svatá Hora for Příbram’s second church. However, the church was never built, and residential houses gradually began to spring up around the church’s planned layout, marked out by lime trees.
In 2008, a new children’s playground was created here beneath the canopies of the centuries-old lime trees.
