Contract transport within the city

School bus

Since 1 September 2009, a school bus service has been operating in Příbram, providing morning transport for pupils to primary schools in the town. The service is fully funded from the town’s budget, and the route and bus stops were determined in consultation with the individual schools. There are two school bus routes; each bus departs from opposite ends of the town, passes all the schools and reaches the end of its route by 8.00 am. The bus is intended exclusively for the transport of primary school pupils; other passengers are not permitted. A municipal police officer travels on board to ensure the children’s safe journey to school.
