Basic information:
When carrying out construction work which required a planning permission or notification to the building authority, the developer is, amongst other things, obliged, in accordance with the provisions of Section 152(3)(d) of the Building Act, to notify the building authority of the stages of construction in accordance with the building inspection schedule, to allow for the inspection to be carried out, and, unless there are serious grounds preventing it, to attend this inspection.
