Special use of the road – organising events

Where to apply:
Příbram Town Hall, Gen. Tesaříka 19, 261 01 Příbram, Road Management Department

Other necessary documents, information, etc.:
A completed application accompanied by a statement from the Traffic Inspectorate of the Czech Police, Příbram Regional Directorate.
If it is necessary to restrict road traffic, you must apply for a partial or complete road closure. The decision on a partial or complete road closure is also issued by the Road Management Department of the Příbram Municipal Authority.

Basic information:
Submission of a written application specifying the applicant’s requirements. Submission via a data box.
In person at the reception desk of the Příbram Town Hall, Tyršova 108, 261 01 Příbram, or at the office of the Road Management Department, Gen. R. Tesaříka 19, 2nd floor
. In writing to the following address: Příbram Municipal Authority, Road Management Department, Tyršova 108, 261 01 Příbram. A written application addressed to the Road Management Department is registered and, following a check to ensure it is complete and after deliberation, a decision is issued; this is either sent to the applicant by post or, by arrangement, may be collected in person

Processing time:
The processing time is 30 days; in particularly complex cases, 60 days.

Who is entitled to submit an application, notification, etc.:
The applicant must be a legal entity or its authorised representative, or a natural person with legal capacity and entitled to exercise rights and fulfil obligations.

The Traffic Inspectorate of the Czech Police, Příbram Regional Directorate; the road owner

Legislation governing the procedure:
• Act No. 13/1997 Coll., on roads, as amended
• Decree No. 104/1997 Coll., implementing the Act on roads, as amended

Administrative (or other) fee:
The administrative fee for special use lasting up to and including 10 days is CZK 100, up to and including 6 months is CZK 500, and for longer periods is CZK 1,000. The administrative fee must be paid before the decision is issued, either in cash at the cash desk of the Příbram Municipal Authority or, by arrangement, by bank transfer or by postal order.

Remedies:
An appeal may be lodged with the Regional Authority of the Central Bohemian Region via the Road Management Department of the Příbram Municipal Authority; the appeal must be lodged within 15 days of the date of receipt of the decision.
