Permit for a road closure

Where to sort this out:

Other necessary documents, information, etc.:
- a completed application form
- consent from the municipalities affected by the closure and
diversion - consent from the transport operator, if the closure requires the temporary relocation of public transport stops. Traffic signage must be specified
before a decision on the closure is issued. This task is also carried out by the Road Management Department. The matter is usually discussed during the closure proceedings.

Basic information:
Submission of a written application specifying the applicant’s requirements. Submission via a data box.
In person at the reception desk of the Příbram Town Hall, Tyršova 108, 261 01 Příbram, or at the office of the Road Management Department, Gen. R. Tesaříka 19, 2nd floor
. In writing to the following address: Příbram Municipal Authority, Road Management Department, Tyršova 108, 261 01 Příbram. A written application addressed to the Road Management Department is registered and, following a check to ensure it is complete and after it has been considered, a decision is issued, which is either sent to the applicant by post or may be collected in person by prior arrangement.

Processing time:
The processing time is 30 days; in particularly complex cases, 60 days.

Who is entitled to submit an application, notification, etc.:
The applicant must be a legal entity or its authorised representative, or a natural person with legal capacity and the capacity to exercise rights and fulfil obligations.

Other parties to the proceedings:
• the owner of the road to be closed
• the owner of the road along which the diversion is to be routed
• the municipality within whose built-up area the closure is to be authorised
• the municipality within whose built-up area the diversion is to be routed

Legislation governing the procedure:
• Act No. 13/1997 Coll., on roads, as amended
• Decree No. 104/1997 Coll., implementing the Act on roads, as amended

Administrative (or other) fee:
No administrative fee is charged.

Remedies:
An appeal may be lodged with the Regional Authority of the Central Bohemian Region via the Road Management Department of the Příbram Municipal Authority; the appeal must be lodged within 15 days of the date of receipt of the decision.
