Trade Licensing Portal

Basic information

Any application under the Trade Licensing Act may be submitted to any Trade Licensing Office throughout the Czech Republic, including notifications of changes. All applications can be submitted electronically at the Trade Licensing Office with the assistance of its staff. The Trade Licensing Portal is a web portal that provides users with information and services relating to business activities under the Trade Licensing Act. The services provided by the Trade Licensing Portal also include the option to deal with selected matters electronically.

Processing time

If the applicant meets all the conditions laid down by the Trade Licensing Act, the Trade Licensing Office will enter the business in the Trade Register within 5 working days of the date of notification and issue an extract to the business owner.

Who is entitled to submit an application, notification, etc.

• Natural persons
• Legal entities (a member of the statutory body, a proxy, a liquidator)
• An authorised representative acting under a power of attorney.
