Notification of a change in the use of a building

Basic information:
A change in the intended use of a building, in its operational facilities, its production methods or a substantial extension thereof, and a change in activities whose effects could endanger human life and public health, the life and health of animals, safety or the environment, or a change to the duration of a temporary structure, is only permissible with the consent or authorisation of the building authority. A change in the use of a building must be in accordance with the spatial planning documentation, the objectives and tasks of spatial planning, the general requirements for construction, the public interests protected by this Act, and specific legal regulations.
