Legalisation is the verification of the validity of a signature and stamp on a document. The Registry Office carries out the legalisation of birth, marriage and death certificates, certificates of legal capacity to marry and confirmations of details recorded in the register, issued by registry offices within the administrative district of the town of Příbram. If the country for which the document is to be used requires a higher level of authentication, the Registry Office will carry out the legalisation of the document.
