Basic information

Upon request, the Registry Office will issue duplicates of birth, marriage and death certificates that are recorded within its registry district.

Processing time

Within 30 days, or whilst you wait. 

Who is entitled to submit an application, notification, etc.

The individual to whom the entry relates, or members of their family (spouse, partner, parents, children, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren and great-grandchildren). If a person applies for a duplicate through an authorised representative, the signature on the power of attorney must be officially certified. The application may be submitted in person, or by post or via a data box.

Administrative (or other) fee

The administrative fee is 300 CZK.
