Application for a licence to operate a public transport route

Where to apply:
Příbram Town Hall, Road Management Department, Tyršova 108, 261 01 Příbram.

Basic information:
A written application addressed to the Road Management Department is registered and, once checked for completeness, administrative proceedings are initiated on the basis of which a decision to grant a licence is issued. Applications may also be submitted via a data box.

Processing time:
The processing time is 60 days.

Who is entitled to submit an application, notification, etc.:
The applicant must hold a concession authorising the operation of a public regular transport service. The applicant must submit an application accompanied by a proposed route (or a schematic map thereof), a proposed timetable for the service, a copy of the licence certificate and an extract from the Commercial Register.

Other parties to the proceedings:
The Transport Inspectorate – Czech Police, the Transport Department of the Central Bohemian Regional Authority, the owners of the roads along which the routes run, the owners of road signs, and the municipalities within whose boundaries the bus stops will be located.

• Decree No. 478/2000 Coll., as amended, implementing the Act on Road Transport
• Decree No. 122/2014 Coll., on timetables for public scheduled transport, as amended

Requirements for the application:
A completed application form with attachments

Administrative (or other) fee:
Intra-regional route: CZK 300 per route.
Inter-regional route: CZK 500 per route. No administrative fee is charged in the case of a public service obligation. The administrative fee must be paid before a decision is issued, either in cash at the cash desk of the Příbram Municipal Authority or, by agreement, by bank transfer or postal order.

Remedies:
An appeal must be lodged with the Regional Authority of the Central Bohemian Region via the Road Management Department of the Příbram Municipal Authority; the appeal must be lodged within 15 days of receiving the decision.
