Permit to erect and operate advertising structures within a road safety zone

The issue of this permit does not affect the obligation to obtain further permits, e.g. from the building authority.

Basic information:
Submit a written application specifying the applicant’s requirements. Submit via a data box.
Submit in person to the reception desk of the Příbram Town Hall, Tyršova 108, 261 01 Příbram, or to the office of the Road Management Department of the Příbram Municipal Authority, Gen. R. Tesaříka 19, door no. 104 (ground floor).
In writing to the following address: Příbram Town Hall, Road Management Department, Tyršova 108, 261 01 Příbram. A written application addressed to the Road Management Department is registered and, following a check to ensure it is complete and after it has been considered, a decision is issued, which is either sent to the applicant by post or, by arrangement, collected in person.

Processing time:
The processing time is 30 days; in particularly complex cases, 60 days

Who is entitled to submit an application, notification, etc.:
The applicant must be a legal entity or its authorised representative, or a natural person capable of performing legal acts and having rights and obligations

Other parties to the proceedings:
The Traffic Inspectorate – Central Directorate of the Czech Police, and the owner of the property on which the advertising structure is to be erected and operated.

Legislation governing the procedure:
• Act No. 13/1997 Coll., on roads, as amended
• Decree No. 104/1997 Coll., implementing the Act on roads, as amended

Administrative (or other) fee:
No administrative fee is charged for the permit

Remedies:
an appeal to the Regional Authority of the Central Bohemian Region via the Road Management Department of the Příbram Municipal Authority; the appeal must be lodged within 15 days of receiving the decision

Notes:
What penalties may be imposed in the event of failure to comply with the prescribed obligations:
A fine of up to CZK 300,000 for both natural and legal persons.
