Commemorative days and significant anniversaries

FEBRUARY:
A memorial service to honour the memory of 16 citizens from the Příbram region who were executed on 19 February 1945 at Brandenburg Prison near Berlin.

MAY:
Commemoration of the end of the Second World War at the memorial to the victims of the anti-fascist resistance during the Second World War in the Garden of Remembrance at Hvězdička and at the military graves of fallen Red Army soldiers and partisans, who lost their lives during the liberation of the Příbram region towards the end of the Second World War, at the cemetery in Old Příbram and at the Březová Hora cemetery.  

OCTOBER:
A commemorative ceremony to mark the anniversary of the establishment of the independent Czechoslovak Republic at the Freedom Monument, erected in honour of the victims of the First World War, and at the ‘To the Fallen Sons of Březová Hora’ sculpture on J.A. Alis Square.
