Cooperation with the town of Leśnica
On 9 January 2009, in Leśnica in Góra Świętej Anny/St. Annaberg, the town of Příbram officially launched the pilgrimage route. Together with other towns (Altötting, Leśnica, Maria Lankowitz, Rosenthal, in cooperation with the mayors of Voitsberg and Crostwitz), it signed a declaration of intent and committed to personal involvement and dedication in the development of the ‘Central European Pilgrimage Sites’ project. The project showcases pilgrimage sites as centres of spiritual life and living faith, places of encounter, and hubs for European ideas and mutual understanding between nations.
A joint calendar and website have been created as part of the project.
