Implementation of the PZKO within the town of Příbram 2

The aim of the project is to accelerate the implementation of mandatory and supporting measures arising from the ‘Air Quality Improvement Programme, Central Bohemia Zone – 2020 Update’ for the Příbram municipal area, through the updating of the ‘Action Plan for Improving Air Quality in the City of Příbram’ (Action Plan) and its subsequent implementation.

The activities set out in Call No. 2/2021 of the National Environment Programme will be carried out throughout the duration of the project by one full-time staff member who will, among other things, contribute to updating the existing action plan, coordinate the activities of the expert working group and the town’s various departments, and communicate and cooperate with the relevant institutions. The staff member will also be responsible for communicating with the municipalities within the territorial jurisdiction of the Příbram Municipal Authority (ORP) and assisting with the preparation of their own timetables for implementing the PZKO measures. Once the action plan has been updated and approved by the relevant municipal authority, this document will be published. Following this phase, the staff member will actively participate in carrying out the activities set out in the action plan, monitor and continuously evaluate the implementation of these activities, identify potential risks associated with their implementation, and propose measures to eliminate them.
