The town of Příbram is a municipality within the meaning of Article 99 of Constitutional Act No. 1/1993 Coll., the Constitution of the Czech Republic, and Act No. 128/2000 Coll., on Municipalities (Municipal Organisation), as amended.

The town of Příbram is a territorial community of citizens which has its own assets, its own revenue and manages its finances in accordance with its own budget. In legal relations, it acts in its own name and bears the liability arising from such relations.
The town of Příbram manages its own affairs independently.

The town’s mission is to ensure public administration within its territory, or to carry out state administration within its administrative district, under the conditions laid down by law.
