Spatial analysis documents (hereinafter referred to as ‘ÚAP’) must be drawn up for the entire territory of a municipality with extended powers.
The TAO identify and assess
- the current state and development of the territory, its values, and restrictions on changes to the territory for the protection of public interests or arising from the characteristics of the territory
- plans to implement changes to the territory
- sustainable development of the territory
and identify issues to be addressed in spatial planning documentation (analysis of sustainable spatial development)
The Spatial Development Plans (ÚAP) serve primarily as a basis for the preparation of the Spatial Development Policy of the Czech Republic, spatial planning documents, spatial studies, spatial measures, the delineation of built-up areas, and for decision-making in relation to the territory.
The Territorial Analytical Documents are continuously updated on the basis of new data on the territory, territorial surveys and other information. A full update of the Spatial Analysis Documents is carried out once every four years. The initial Spatial Analysis Documents for the administrative district of the municipality with extended powers of Příbram were drawn up in 2008. The first full update of the Spatial Analysis Documentation was completed on 15 December 2010; the second full update was completed on 30 November 2012; the third comprehensive update of the Spatial Analysis Documentation was completed on 16 December 2014; the fourth comprehensive update was completed on 20 December 2016; the fifth comprehensive update was completed on 4 December 2020; the 6th full update was carried out on 5 December 2024. In addition, the ÚAP is subject to ongoing updates.

Data provision
Only authorised persons may request the release of spatial data – public authorities, local authorities, or, where applicable, those drawing up (designers of) spatial and regulatory plans and spatial studies.
