List of activities

Pursuant to Act No. 246/1992 Coll., on the Protection of Animals against Cruelty, the following state administration functions are carried out in the field of animal protection:

• it deals with offences and administrative offences relating to animal protection;
• in the case of abused animals, it decides on temporary foster care and foster care;
• decides on the forfeiture or seizure of an abused animal;
• decides on special measures;
• receives notifications regarding public performances involving animals (for the town of Příbram only).
