Within the scope of delegated powers as set out in the relevant legislation

• it carries out tasks relating to the right of assembly
• ensures and carries out the organisational and technical preparation and conduct of elections (with the exception of the registration office), local referendums and censuses of the population, houses and flats
• conducts administrative proceedings and issues decisions within its remit

Within its independent remit, it is
responsible for

• personnel management (employment relationships, remuneration, occupational health services, etc.)
• internal administration of the municipal office and the operational management of buildings used by the municipal office (organisational and logistical support for the running of the municipal office and the town’s elected bodies, etc.)
• the performance of administrative tasks relating to the maintenance of the register pursuant to Act No. 159/2006 Coll., on conflicts of interest, as amended
• organisational matters of the Příbram Municipal Authority
• logistical and technical support for the running of the Municipal Authority
• operational management of the buildings housing the Municipal Authority, including cleaning
• the department’s budget, analyses and financial activities
• the running and internal administration of the Příbram Municipal Authority in accordance with the approved budget
• Operation of the registry and delivery of correspondence, and operation of the telephone switchboard
• filing, weeding out and shredding of Municipal Office documents
• provides organisational and technical support for the proceedings of the City Council and the Municipal Assembly, and maintains records of City Council committees and Municipal Assembly committees
• preparation, record-keeping and archiving of minutes and resolutions of the City Council and the Municipal Assembly
• matters relating to lay judges
• activities arising from the Act on Elections, the Act on the Census, the Act on Local Referendums, etc.
• provides methodological guidance, supervision and liaises with municipalities within the territorial jurisdiction of the office with extended powers
• editing data in the Register of Rights and Obligations

It carries out the tasks of the municipal authority to the extent defined by the organisational regulations.
