Projects: LOCAL EDUCATION ACTION PLANS FOR THE PŘÍBRAM MUNICIPALITY

Local Action Plans for Education projects in the Příbram ORP are being implemented across the entire territory of the Příbram ORP, with the exception of the municipalities of Kamýk nad Vltavou and Solenice, which, based on their school catchment areas, have been assigned to the Sedlčany ORP.

Project title: MAP III Příbram ORP

Project summary:
The MAP III ORP Příbram project builds on the MAP ORP Příbram I and II projects, which were implemented between 2016 and 2022. Good cooperation between all partners is already well established in this project. The aim of the project is to improve the quality of education in nursery, primary and primary art schools in the Příbram region, whilst developing cooperation between schools and other stakeholders in education. As part of the project, a strategic document on education in the Příbram region is being drawn up and updated; activities to support education are being proposed; and schools’ investment project plans are being identified and collated.

Project duration: 1 April 2022 – 30 November 2023

Project title: MAP II Příbram Municipal Administrative District

Project summary:
The Local Action Plan for Education Development II (MAP II) builds on the previous MAP I project, which was implemented between May 2016 to December 2017 and is the result of collaboration between a number of partners within the Příbram ORP. The aim of the project is to improve the quality of education in nursery, primary and primary arts schools within the Příbram Municipal District by further developing cooperation between school governing bodies, the Local Action Group (MAS) and stakeholders in education. MAP II will implement measures and activities leading to the fulfilment of the objectives set out in MAP I.

Project implementation period: 1 April 2019 – 31 March 2022

Key outputs from the project’s implementation
:- Meetings of the MAP Steering Committee and project working groups
.- Educational activities carried out.
- The MAP ORP Příbram Strategic Document, including the MAP Strategic Framework, which sets out the project plans of the individual schools involved in the MAP project, has been updated.
- Implementation activities planned under the MAP I project were carried out, specifically support for schools in the region through the purchase of teaching aids and the organisation of excursions and workshops on the topic of polytechnic education.
- Secondary School Fairs were organised to support primary school pupils and their parents as they make decisions about their future careers and the choice of secondary school.

Project title: Local Action Plan for the Příbram Municipal District

Project summary:
The aim of the project is to improve the quality of education in nursery and primary schools by establishing cooperation between school governing bodies and other stakeholders in education. This is to be achieved through joint discussion and resolution of locally specific issues, through the exchange of information, through training, and through long-term planning of partnership activities aimed at systemic improvements to the management of nursery and primary schools throughout the Příbram Municipal District.
