Systemic support for the development of inter-municipal cooperation in the Czech Republic within the administrative districts of municipalities with extended powers

The project was led by the Union of Towns and Municipalities of the Czech Republic, and its objectives were to strengthen inter-municipal cooperation within the territories of municipalities with extended powers (ORP) as defined by law, to increase the confidence of individual municipalities in mutual cooperation, to carry out in-depth analyses of selected areas suitable for inter-municipal cooperation, and to demonstrate that mutual cooperation between municipalities can lead to improvements in public administration, better delivery of public services and potential financial savings that could be channelled towards the further development of the municipalities. The project was implemented within the Příbram ORP area by the Department for Inter-municipal Cooperation of Municipalities with Extended Powers.
