Project and Grant Management Department

Description of the department’s activities

• The Project and Grant Management Department is responsible for securing grants from EU funds, state funds, ministries, the regional authority and other donors for both investment and non-investment projects in the town of Příbram – an overview of grants secured.
• It collaborates with other departments of the Town Council and coordinates individual activities to ensure that all necessary documentation is in place for submitting grant applications. It also manages the grant administration of projects currently under implementation, prepares interim monitoring reports on projects, final project evaluations, and reports during the so-called project sustainability period, and ensures the necessary publicity for projects.
• In collaboration with an external contractor, it drew up the Strategic Plan for the City’s Development for the period 2022–2030, which is updated as required.
• As part of the project ‘Implementation of Air Quality Improvement Programmes (PZKO) in the City of Příbram’, the department drew up an action plan aimed at identifying measures that will lead to improved air quality and the achievement of permissible pollution levels. Since 2021, a follow-up project has been underway: ‘Implementation of Air Quality Improvement Programmes in the City of Příbram 2’. The department is currently collaborating on the implementation of the project ‘Implementation of Air Quality Improvement Programmes in the City of Příbram 3’.
• It maintains a comprehensive register of strategic and policy documents produced and managed by the city.
