 Description of the department’s activities

• CRM – Central Registration Point – via the CRM, in addition to registering a trade and applying for a licence, it is also possible to complete tax registration, submit notifications to the Czech Social Security Administration, submit notifications to employment offices and submit notifications to the relevant health insurance provider.
• It accepts trade licence applications, applications for the issue of concessions, changes and notifications of other details relating to business activities, and issues trade licences, including handling other related administrative matters in accordance with the applicable legislation. • It revokes, suspends or cancels trade licences.
• It maintains the Trade Register.
• It conducts administrative proceedings in the field of trade.
• It cooperates with the Trade Licensing Authority of the Czech Republic, regional trade licensing authorities and municipal trade licensing authorities.
• It cooperates with business associations, trade guilds, the Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture, and other organisations in the field of business.
• It maintains a register of agricultural entrepreneurs.
