List of duties 

• Performs the duties of the city architect
• Issues opinions on major building projects within the framework of proceedings under the Building Act from the perspective of the city architect
• Issues opinions on the disposal of property owned by the city
• Provides background information for the planning of development projects of city-wide significance (public benefit projects, transport and technical infrastructure)
• Prepares background documentation and submits proposals for decision-making by local government bodies on matters of urban development
• Provides opinions from the perspective of the city architect on proposed projects and the city’s investment plans
• Carries out tasks relating to the implementation of the City’s Strategic Plan
• Announces urban planning and architectural competitions for the design of particularly significant projects within the framework of the city’s construction development
• In specific cases, participates in and represents the town of Příbram, on the basis of a mandate, in administrative proceedings (planning, building, and water law proceedings) where the town is a party to the proceedings
• Ensures coordination in the preparation and implementation of the city’s investment projects
• It provides administrative support to local authorities in matters relating to environmental impact assessments (EIA, SEA)
