Appeals
Appeals against decisions An appeal may be lodged
against a decision to reject an application.
How and where to lodge an appeal
An appeal must be lodged with the competent authority that issued the decision, either orally or in writing. The appeal must clearly state who is lodging it and to which matter it relates. The appeal is deemed to have been lodged on the date on which it was served on the competent authority.
How and by whom the appeal is decided
The appeal body for decisions of the Příbram Municipal Authority (or its relevant department or unit, whether acting within its own or delegated powers) is the Regional Authority of the Central Bohemian Region.
The competent authority shall submit the appeal, together with the case file, to the appeal authority within 15 days of the date of receipt of the appeal.
The superior authority shall decide on the appeal within 15 days of the date on which the appeal was submitted by the obligated body. The time limit for deciding on an administrative appeal is 15 working days from the date of receipt of the administrative appeal by the obligated body. This time limit cannot be extended.
In the event of a judicial review of a decision on an appeal following an action brought under a specific statutory provision, the court shall examine whether there are grounds for refusing the request. If there are no grounds for refusing the request, the court shall set aside the decision on the appeal and the obliged body’s decision to refuse the request, and shall order the obliged body to provide the requested information.
