Opening exhibition: Studio GFDP – Reflections and Superheroes

The ‘STUDIO GFDP’ project was launched in response to the high level of interest from nursery, primary and secondary schools in the educational programmes and art workshops organised by the František Drtikol Gallery in Příbram. Its aim is to develop the potential of children and other target groups through sensory perception and creativity, thereby teaching them to cultivate concentration and discipline on a platform other than the information-based one that predominates in the traditional educational process. The gallery’s activities will be complemented by a range of educational programmes in the gallery’s expanded premises.

On 11 September 2024, the new premises of STUDIO GFDP were officially opened with a vernissage, during which works by children and students from art workshops were presented; the event also featured a musical programme performed by pupils. Nursery schools, primary schools and primary art schools were invited to collaborate.
