| Brief description of the project | As part of the project, the horse-chestnut avenue on Žižkova Street, the lime tree avenue on Balbínova Street and the Příbram cemetery were revitalised. Work was carried out at height in the tree canopies, and for the younger plantings, training pruning was carried out to remove co-dominant shoots, branches with ingrown bark, and pressure forks. For the remaining trees, sanitary pruning was carried out in combination with safety pruning, removing dry branches infested with pathogens or unsuitable for optimal crown structure. Furthermore, preservative treatments and safety bracing were carried out, along with the removal of stumps and the planting of new trees. |
