Connection of the village of Lazec to the Příbram Wastewater Treatment Plant

The aim of the project is to divert domestic sewage from the village of Lazec. At present, domestic sewage from part of the village is channelled into septic tanks for collection, or into tanks with overflows, the outlets of which often discharge into the existing stormwater drainage system or directly into a receiving water body. This results in the pollution of surface watercourses.

The implementation of the project will provide a sewerage system for the village of Lazec and ensure that wastewater is conveyed to the existing Příbram Wastewater Treatment Plant for treatment. Sewage will be conveyed by gravity across unpaved areas in the south of the village via sewers Z and Z1 to the town of Příbram and the Wastewater Treatment Plant. The connection to the town’s existing sewerage network will be made via a prefabricated concrete manhole near the Litavka stream. The new sewer is designed to be made of PVC DN 300.

The completion of the project will improve the local environment and enhance the quality of both surface and groundwater. The project will contribute to improving amenities for local residents and enable further development of the area.
