The Town of Příbram – Jan Drda Library – removal of barriers

Structural alterations will be carried out on the building to ensure barrier-free access to the areas used for the library’s purposes. The internal layout of the left-hand side of the building (as seen from the entrance) will be modified on all floors. A new rope lift will be installed on the left-hand side of the building, and all floors of the building will be accessible via this new barrier-free lift. On the 3rd floor, new accessible toilet facilities have been created – comprising a toilet with a toilet bowl, a washbasin, a urinal and a nappy-changing table. The building will be fitted with technical, wayfinding and information systems for people with mobility, visual, hearing and intellectual impairments, elderly people, pregnant women, and people accompanying a child in a pushchair or a child under the age of three.
