Brief description of the project	Through this project, the City of Příbram is undertaking a major system upgrade in the following areas: − user desktop management − ICT security − support for civil servants’ communication via the Civil Servant Portal − implementation of user functionalities on the town’s portal. The aim is to enhance the existing technology centre so that it complies with modern security standards and enables effective management and communication. This has been achieved by expanding capacity and introducing storage solutions that facilitate efficient processes and access to data. Security has also been enhanced through a modern approach to accessing administrative systems and data, which has replaced the old desktop system – no longer fully supported – by implementing a virtual desktop. Consolidation with the existing server infrastructure has resulted in a comprehensive environment for the ORP’s ICT centre. The project also aims to ensure effective communication both within and outside the authority.
