Support for the operational capacity of the Příbram – Březové Hory Volunteer Fire Brigade

Project title	Homogenisation of the road surface in the municipality of Příbram Kozičín

Brief description of the project	The grant was used to equip the Příbram – Březové Hory Volunteer Fire Brigade with fire protection equipment. Given the unit’s specialisation in technical rescue operations at road traffic accidents, the following items were purchased: 3 pairs of firefighting boots, 10 pairs of technical firefighting gloves, and 4 helmets for firefighting in open terrain and for technical rescue operations. The unit works closely with the Central Bohemian Region Fire and Rescue Service, Příbram District Office. It is regularly dispatched by the Regional Operations and Information Centre to tackle fires, including rescue and fire-extinguishing operations, and has thus become an indispensable part of the integrated rescue system. In 2023, the unit was dispatched to a total of 108 incidents, and in 2024 to 124.
